WHAT IS SHARED BRANCHING? 

The concept is simple – When there is no First New England Branch nearby; you can access your First New England accounts take advantage of nearly all traditional branch services at over 4,000 participating locations nationwide.   Over 30 branches are located in Connecticut!

 

 

HOW CAN I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT AT OTHER SHARED BRANCH LOCATIONS?

 

In order to perform transactions at a shared branching location, bring your credit union account number and photo identification.  That’s it!

 

WHAT TYPE OF SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE AT SHARED BRANCH LOCATIONS?

 

·         Deposits and withdrawals

·         Transfers between accounts

·         Account/loan Inquiries

·         Loan payments

·         Extended hours of access, and more....

 

 HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?

There is NO FEE to use this service.

 

WHAT OTHER BRANCHES PATICIPATE IN THE SHARED BRANCHING NETWORK?

 

All participating credit unions display the Credit Union Service Centers logo.  You can find a nearby branch several ways:

  • Call 800-919-2872
  • Visit www.creditunion.net to search or download locations to your GPS device
  • Ask a Member Services Representative
  • Look for the CU Service Centers logo  

 

We know how important it is for you to be able to take care of your financial business when you are on the go, even if one of our First New England branches aren’t nearby.  That’s why First New England is part of “shared branching” - through our partnership with other credit unions; you can conduct transactions in participant’s branches just as if you were in a First New England branch.
