Identity Theft is a crime committed against innocent people in which personal information is stolen and used to committ fraud and other crimes.  According to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) there are a many as 9 million Americans who have their identities stolen each year.  At First New England, we give you the tools to help educate you on identity theft and provide you with the information and personalized service to fight against it.

Our Identity Theft Package Includes:

  • Automated monitoring of credit score changes through email alerts.
  • Fraud Prevention Tips and Tricks including; videos, interactive assessments and online quizzes
  • Online Safety tools such as:  Document virus testing, password strength, website safety and much more...
  • Identity Theft news including recent data breaches, fraud risk levels and other preventative measures to keep your identity safe.

In Case You Are Ever the Victim of Identity Theft, You will receive:

  • A dedicated Member Relationship Team Specialist who will walk you through the recovery process.
  • Detailed instruction on completing the appropriate paperwork to restore your credit.
  • Free quarterly copies of your credit report if your credit score decreases by more than 100 points.
  • Continuous assistance up to one year after the incident to make sure you are in the clear. 

First New England is committed to empowering our members to protect themselves against identity theft.  We are offering this comprehensive identity theft package at an introductory rate of $3 per quarter for Relationship Account Members and $5 per quarter for general members.
